Behind the Music

LC is originally from Cleveland, Ohio where his music roots run very deep. His father was a recorded singing artist himself. Soon after relocating to Los Angeles, LC was working with producer Frank Wilson and later would record with H. B. Barnum. A production deal followed with the Wilder Brothers at their recording studio in West Los Angeles. LC worked on several projects with Clarence Avant and his Tabu Productions at the A&M Studios in Hollywood. Soon after, LC was signed with USA Records, where he completed the single "Free & Easy" under their label. LC's independent CD, "CROSSROADS", was very well received in Europe. One reviewer of a UK soul magazine had the following solid remarks for LC’s music: “High standard and great harmonies, with tracks by LC being the best part of an album I would buy. It would be a shame if any were left on the studio shelf”.

LC has been fortunate to have worked with some amazing industry professionals through his years – Peter Hume, Melissa Manchester’s musical director, Wyll Bryant from Maze featuring Frankie Beverly and former keyboardist with Phil Collins and Nolan Shaheed, the musical director for the Jackson Reunion and Marvin Gaye. LC was also tapped to perform the theme song for the movie Zapped Again starring Scott Baio.

LC is an extremely versatile artist and he has a solid library of original material, crossing into multiple genres and winning over the hearts of a diverse array of music lovers. LC continues to write and record new singles.

While creating music in Los Angeles for years, LC also had his hand in another facet of entertainment as well. He managed all three of his children in successful acting careers. They were active in television, motion pictures and voiceover productions. At one point in time, all three were co-starring in separate network television series. He was a much at home whether in a recording studio or on a Hollywood studio lot. LC produced and performed his song, “Broken Heart healer” for Come in From the Storm, a direct to video movie short release starring one of his sons.
